About
Hi! I am Vivi Anne
Welcome to my Garden of Reflections
I’m a writer who finds meaning in the small, ordinary moments of everyday life with my loved ones.
I grew up between cultures, coastlines, and stories, and I’ve always imagined myself writing in a little nipa hut by the beach, notebook open, waves glowing outside the window. This blog is my version of that place.
A calm, hopeful, reflective space where I can share my thoughts, my daily escapades, and the gentle lessons that come with simply being alive. Here, I write the way I breathe — slowly, honestly, and with gratitude for the beauty tucked inside ordinary days.
Join me as I reflect on what fate leads me to and be inspired.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How can I afford to travel so often?
“Often” is different for everyone.
For me, it simply means saving up when I can and grabbing opportunities when they appear. You don’t need to travel constantly or far to enjoy it — even small trips count. If travelling is something you truly want, you’ll find ways to make it happen in your own time and your own rhythm.
3. Have you ever been in danger?
Have you ever been in danger?
Yes.
There have been moments in my life when things felt uncertain or risky. But I’ve learned not to let fear stop me from living fully. Danger can appear anywhere — at home, on the road, or even in the everyday. What matters is choosing courage over worry.
I remind myself to stay aware, stay wise, and stay grounded. And I hold onto my faith. I believe the Lord watches over us, and that gives me the strength to keep moving, keep exploring, and keep saying yes to life.
Courage isn’t the absence of danger — it’s trusting that you can walk through it with a steady heart.
2. Isn’t accommodation expensive? Where do you stay?
Accommodation can be expensive, but there are many ways to make travel more affordable. One of the biggest blessings is staying with friends when they invite you — that’s one less hotel to worry about and a lot of savings you can put toward the rest of your trip. Let opportunities come, and when they do, grab them.
When I’m not staying with friends, I look for good deals through apps like Trivago and other comparison sites. There’s always a budget‑friendly option if you’re patient and flexible.
Travel doesn’t have to be luxurious to be meaningful. Sometimes the simplest arrangements lead to the richest experiences.
4. Do you travel alone?
I have travelled alone a few times in my life. When I was younger and still single, I experienced a very frightening situation that made me avoid solo travel for many years. Through prayer and God’s protection, I came out of it safely, but the experience stayed with me.
Later in life, after I got married and had children, I only travelled alone again when I needed to visit my mum. By then, I felt stronger and more grounded, and I trusted that the Lord was guiding me every step of the way.
Over time, I’ve learned simple ways to stay safe:
avoid isolated places or dark areas
Stay where there are people around
Keep to open, well‑lit spaces
Trust your instincts and stay aware
Travelling alone can be meaningful, but it’s important to be wise, prepared, and prayerful. I believe God’s guiding hand has always been with me.
